Metal Rites was tracked by Mind Assault at home in Somerset West, South Africa with the assistance of Theunis "Sarge" Cilliers. The mix and master was completed by Brian Elliott at MANA Recording Studio in Florida, USA.
Independantly released in 2011, the purpose of this six-song project was for members of Mind Assault to learn about certain production aspects in preparation for the creation of a follow-up full-length album.
